Uprising Consulting Pvt Ltd (“Uprising”, “we”, “us”) is a recruitment and staffing company in Kolkata. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you apply for a job, contact us, or fill in one of our forms on this website, Facebook or Instagram, and how we use and protect it.

What we collect

• Details you give us: your name, mobile number, WhatsApp number, city / area, age or date of birth, gender, education, work experience, whether you have a bike or vehicle, and the job you are interested in.
• If you apply through a Facebook or Instagram Lead Ad, the answers you submit in that form are shared with us by Meta, together with the name of the ad and form you used.
• Basic technical information when you visit our website (pages visited, device and browser, and the ad or link that brought you here). Our website uses the Meta Pixel to measure how our job ads perform.
• For employers who enquire with us: your name, company, contact details and hiring requirement.

How we use it

• To contact you by phone, SMS or WhatsApp about the job you applied for and similar jobs that suit you.
• To process your application — screening, interviews, documents, joining and follow-up after joining.
• To share your profile with the hiring company (our client) for the job you applied to, only for that purpose.
• To keep records required for payroll, compliance and legal obligations where you join through us.
• To improve our job ads and services.

We never charge candidates any fee, and we do not sell your personal information.

Who can see your information

Only our recruitment team, the hiring company for the job you applied to, and service providers that help us run our systems (such as hosting and messaging), all bound to keep it confidential. We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep your details while we are helping you find work and for a reasonable period after, or as long as the law requires for joined candidates (for example payroll and statutory records).

Your choices and data deletion

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you. Email hr@theuprising.co.in or call +91 98839 79074 with your name and mobile number and the words “delete my data”. We will act on it within 30 days, except for records we are legally required to keep.

Security

Your information is stored in our access-controlled recruitment system. Only authorised staff can view it, and we use encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website and systems.
